It can be taken as a prophylactic against epidemics of virally caused influenzas, and acts by strengthening the immune system of the body. Indications:
In traditional therapy PEYAWA is prescribed where there is an imbalance of vital forces n the body responsible for cold and cold related conditions. This imbalance manifests itself in some of the following symptoms: running nose, sneezing, sore throat, headache, body ache, fevers, cough, and/or a feeling of weakness.
Presentation: Link Samahan comes to the consumer as a free flowing water soluble powder. It is presented in moisture-proof, triple laminated sachets. Each sachet contains 4g of product.
Constituents:
Link Samahan contains fourteen extracts of the fourteen herbs listed in the table below. The herbs are employed for the preparation of Link Samahan in the dried form, such as:
Adhatoda vasica roots Nees.,expectorant ,anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory.
Alpina galanga Java galangal Aratta Rhizome Willd.,anti-bacteria, anti-phlogistic,anti-spasmodic, anti-funga, use for bronchialcatarrh, carminative, stimulant.
Carum copticum Ajowan Asamodagam Seed -antispasmodic,carminative, stimulant, anti-bacteria.
Coriandrum sativum L. Coriander Kottamalli Seed anti-spasmodic, analgesic, anti-rhumatic, stimulant, anti-oxidant, anti-fungal, carminative, anti-bacteria, anti-microbial12 .
Coscinum fenestratum (Gaertn.) Colebr. anti-bacterial, anti-plasmodial, anti-oxident .

Directions for use:
One sachet may be taken, dissolved in a cup of warm water, either before or after meals for combating the onset of an attack of influenza or during the attack of colds and cold related ailments. Thereafter it may be repeated four or five times per day. If preferred, it may be taken with a light beverage such as tea. It may also be taken as a prophylactic against the cold virus. Link Samahan is safe and can be administered to persons of any age group including children, over three years.
